According to the restaurant’s general manager, the man drove into a menu sign and speaker before colliding with both a car that had just placed an order and an employee’s car.
The man then parked, went into the restaurant’s bathroom and afterward told an employee his brakes had failed, according to the manager.
Police took the man into custody and collected items from the bathroom trash as evidence.
It is unclear if any charges have been filed by police.

A driver slammed into the drive-thru sign at the Wendy’s on East Dayton Yellow Springs Road this afternoon.
Officers responded to the restaurant, 1235 East Dayton Yellow Springs, around 1 p.m.
