Fairborn police are investigating after a man reported his roommate was shot during a home invasion at an apartment on Loretta Avenue Monday afternoon.

The 911 caller told police three people broke through the door around 6 p.m. and held a gun to his his girlfriend’s heads demanding money.

The caller also said his roommate was shot in the neck, and they were driving to Soin Medical Center in Beavercreek.

A Fairborn police incident report offers little detail into what happened at the apartment, and police have not commented on the case.

It’s unclear how serious any injuries are nor whether there have been arrests.

The 911 caller said he didn’t know the invaders, but mentioned possibly seeing them in the area the day before.

The report said the case is still under further investigation.
