UPDATE @ 1:13 p.m. (MAY 25):
Flames damaged three vehicles in a vacant lot in the area of Irwin Street and Gaddis Boulevard this afternoon.
Firefighters said the fire is believed to have started when sun glaring through a window ignited something in one of the vehicles.
The fire is not being considered suspicious, firefighters said.
INITIAL REPORT:
A fire has been reported in the area of Irwin Street and Gaddis Boulevard in Dayton this afternoon.
The fire was reported around 12:45 p.m.
A plume of smoke could be seen from miles away.
