The Northmont Area Chamber of Commerce will host the Taste of Northmont today with lots of local food vendors to entertain your taste buds.
Tickets for the event are $10 in advance and $15 at the door. The event will be today from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Meadowbrook of Clayton on Salem Avenue.

Vendors for the event include: Arby’s; Another Pint Please; Brookdale; Boston Stoker; Bolt’s Sports Café; Heritage Event; Mila’s Suburban Café; OinkADoodleMoo Barbeque; La Fiesta Mexican Restaurant; Rob’s Restaurant and Catering; Ray’s Wine, Spirits and Grill; Stone House Sweets Bakery and Coffee; Jerri’s Family Restaurant; Longhorn Steakhouse; Sam’s Club; and Mike Lang, an Englewood police sergeant.
A cash bar will be included from The Grill at Meadowbrook, Warped Wing and Heidelberg.
The guests of the event will vote the “Best of” from the category’s appetizers, entrees, desserts and drinks. There will be a Basket Raffle with ticket purchases for one for a $1 or six for $5.
The proceeds from the event will go to the Northmont Chamber to further its mission in the Northmont community, according to the website.
“We are excited for our second Annual Taste of Northmont and expecting big things from this year with over 14 vendors and last year’s event bringing in over 300 guests,” said the Chamber CEO Cathy Hutton. “A huge thank you to our vendors and sponsors, without them this community event would not be possible.”
