Chodkowski said he resigned after the council met to discuss his future. Mayor Bill Flaute declined to comment on Chodkowski’s resignation.
“I would definitely like to continue to serve in the area,” Chodkowski, who previously managed two small Michigan communities, said at the time.
James Percival was named interim manager in Riverside, while the council searches for Chodkowski’s replacement.
