Dayton's K12 Gallery & TEJAS are celebrating creativity all summer long.

Summer Art Camp, a variety of classes available for students in kindergarten through 12th grade, has begun.

This year class size is limited and studios are spaced out due to COVID-19. Students will have their temperature checked daily.

Studios and supplies will be disinfected each day and students are encouraged to wear masks.

list of the clever and imaginative classes to choose from can found on the summer camp website.

Students can build miniature art museums out of foam-core blocks similar to the Minecraft game, create works of art out of melted glass or help create a community art installation out of flower pots.

Classes are Monday – Friday from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Cost is $210 for members and $350 for non-members.

Due to limited class size, the deadline to sign up is the noon on the Friday before the scheduled week of classes.
