Girl Scouts to honor local women

Girl Scouts of Western Ohio have selected six local women for the 2014 Women of Distinction award for the Dayton Region. The women are Leesa Baker, YWCA Piqua; Cassie Barlow, Wright State University; Laurie Joyner, Wittenberg University; Nodie Monroe Washington, P&G retiree; Heena Rathore, TrueChoicePack; Nancy Robie, Kettering Health Network.

The women will receive their honors at the third annual Woman of Distinction event at 5:30 p.m. Oct. 30 at the Schuster Performing Arts Center, 1 W. Second St.
