Brian Stone Jr. was indicted Tuesday by a Montgomery County grand jury on charges of failure to comply with the order or signal of a police officer as well as failure to stop after a nonpublic road accident.

According to Kettering police, Stone drove off from the traffic stop for a stop sign violation just before 3 a.m. Nov. 23. He ran a second stop sign and crashed as he was being pursued by police.

He was able to get out of the vehicle and ran but police found him a short time later.

According to an affidavit filed in Kettering Municipal Court, he smelled of alcohol and he admitted to drinking prior to the crash.

Tuesday night, Stone remained in the county jail on no bond, according to online jail records.
