The restaurant will offer cheeseburgers for 69 cents Saturday. There will be giveaways, face-painting, a live radio broadcast from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., and free drawings for items, including wireless headphones and a Nintendo Switch, store officials said in an advertisement in the Dayton Daily News Go! section Friday.

The new store is a replacement of sorts for a Burger King location that shut down in May around the corner at 1431 E. Dorothy Lane. And the new store was built a few hundred feet from where another Burger King once operated in front of the Meijer store, on a plot of land that is now occupied by a Grismer Tire store.
