The new Burger King restaurant on Wilmington Pike in Kettering will offer special prices and giveaways as part of its grand opening on Saturday, Oct. 5.
The fast-food eatery is located at 4025 Wilmington Pike in front of the Meijer store.
The restaurant will offer cheeseburgers for 69 cents Saturday. There will be giveaways, face-painting, a live radio broadcast from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., and free drawings for items, including wireless headphones and a Nintendo Switch, store officials said in an advertisement in the Dayton Daily News Go! section Friday.
The new store is a replacement of sorts for a Burger King location that shut down in May around the corner at 1431 E. Dorothy Lane. And the new store was built a few hundred feet from where another Burger King once operated in front of the Meijer store, on a plot of land that is now occupied by a Grismer Tire store.
This news outlet reached out to the Carrols Corporation of Syracuse, New York, a Burger King franchisee, for more details about the new restaurant today, Oct. 4, and will update this story with any new information.
