The new store is a replacement of sorts for a Burger King location that shut down in May around the corner at 1431 E. Dorothy Lane. And the new store was built a few hundred feet from where another Burger King once operated in front of the Meijer store, on a plot of land that is now occupied by a Grismer Tire store.
