So far, one arrest has been made stemming from a warrant unrelated to the activity on Rockwell Drive, the captain said. The arrest occurred in the parking lot of a Circle K on Rockwell Drive, when a person associated with the investigation was stopped outside the store.

Xenia police at the Circle K did confiscate an SUV the person was driving.

Lane said there were concerns about a possible meth lab, but police determined through further investigation there was no threat to the public.

Greene County Animal Control investigators have taken two pit bulls from the Rockwell Drive address, the captain said.

The investigation continues at both the Rockwell Drive and in the Circle K parking lot, Lane said.

He said he cannot comment on what police have found at Rockwell Drive, but said the investigation is active.

“We’re glad to be out here trying to address the drug problem and hope to slow things down, particularly at this spot,” the captain said.

Lloyd Carter, a Rockwell Drive resident, said, "There's a lot of drugs, a lot of traffic in and out of this house [where the investigation was occurring].... I'm glad to see it done" he said of the investigation.

It has been a long process, he said.

"This ain't no better day right here, to come home and see this being cleaned up. I'm just grateful to these police for doing their job," Carter said.
