“The continued excessive heat over the weekend kept the schools warmer than normal,” Superintendent Brad Silvus said. “Since we have not had a break in the temperatures over the weekend, we felt it was important to release early today. We are hopeful that by mid-week, the weather will break and temperatures will return to normal levels.”

Greenon High School will let students out at 12:25 p.m., while Indian Valley and Enon Primary will let students out at 1:30 p.m. Preschool will only last two hours, according to the Facebook page.
He said the district hadn't made a decision yet whether it will let out early the rest of the week.
