Fire officials tell us about 15 gallons of gasoline, from a nearby Shell station at Far Hills and West Whipp Road, reached a storm drain and then the creek.
Employees from the string of retail businesses called 9-1-1 to report the smell of gasoline.
The fire crew located the spill, contained it on the water and cleared the scene. A hazmat crew dispatched on the incident was still expected.
