Why frost advisories and freeze warnings have not been issued recently

Have you wondered why frost advisories and freeze watches and warnings have not been issued the last few mornings?

As of Oct. 18, after several consecutive mornings of frost around the Miami Valley, the National Weather Service will no longer issues these alerts this season. This is relatively normal timing considering we generally see the first frost around the third week of October.
