Portions of Trotwood, Harrison Twp. and north Dayton were among those hit by the six Miami Valley tornadoes that tore through the region Monday night and during the early-morning hours Tuesday, ripping roofs off of homes, uprooting trees, downing power lines and injuring more than 160. The storm is responsible for one death, 81-year-old Melvin Dale Hannah, of Celina, who was killed after a tornado blew a parked vehicle into his home while he slept.
