Leaky boiler closes Xenia school

The Summit Academy Community School in Xenia will be closed Thursday because of a boiler that is broken and leaking water.

The school, at 1694 Pawnee Drive, notified News Center 7 of the closure Wednesday night.

School Director Mark Sebastian said he hopes the problem will be fixed so classes can resume Friday.

The school provides education specifically designed to serve the needs of students with AD/HD, Autism Spectrum Disorders and related disorders for kindergarten through eighth grade, according to its website.
