The new restaurant is projected to open by mid-November, its local franchise owners told us Oct. 3. It will seat about 160 and will employ 45, and will be located in the former LaRosa’s Pizza restaurant space at 2453 Esquire Drive in Beavercreek. LaRosa’s operated in that space from 2004 until shutting down in March 2018.

“We are so proud of the work Jake does every day in the restaurant and the leadership he provides for all the crew members,” Mike Craddick, Another Broken Egg local franchisee, said in a release.

“This award was given to me, but the award belongs to all the team members who work diligently every day to provide great food and great service to all of our patrons,” Ballard said in a release.

The Austin Landing Another Broken Egg opened in 2014. Plans call for adding more Dayton-area locations after the Beavercreek restaurant opens, although no new sites have been selected, Craddick said in August.

Another Broken Egg is a breakfast, brunch and lunch restaurant that specializes in Southern-inspired menu options and cocktails. In January, FSR magazine, a restaurant-industry publication, named Another Broken Egg as one of the “14 Restaurant Chains Ready for Lift-Off in 2018.”
