1. OVI checkpoint planned for Friday

Montgomery County has an OVI checkpoint planned for Friday. The location will be announced that day, and law enforcement officials will be checking for valid licenses and alcohol and drug impairment.

2. Some drive-in theaters won’t open this season

Three Springfield-owned drive-in theaters in Clark, Clinton and Greene counties will not be open for the season. The Melody 49 drive-in theater in Brookville/Clayton is still open and showing movies.
