According to Lt. Clemens, she’s been working at the Marysville Post since 2012, where she was transferred from the Capitol Operations office at the Ohio Statehouse. She replaces Lt. Ronald Raines, who led the Marysville Post for just under two years before taking a job at the patrol’s general headquarters, according to a release.
Lt. Clemens said the turnaround has been dizzying, saying “My head is still spinning a little bit.”
She was selected for the promotion from a pool of six applicants, saying of her selection, “It’s definitely an honor.” Officials with the patrol said Lt. Clemens is one of two female Post commanders in the state, with the other serving in Wayne County.
