Billy Key, a resident of the Wood’s Mobile Home Park on Billwood Road, said he was outside completing yardwork when the branch fell through the windshield of his car, parked nearby.
Key said he recently moved into the mobile home, and has attempted to remove dead branches that he could reach. But Key said the park’s management needs to remove branches that are in danger of falling and causing a similar situation.
“[Management is] supposed to trim these dead trees,” he said. “[The trees are] too big to fall and I’ve been trying to save them.”
Key said he’s reached out to the park’s owners, RV Horizons, and has yet to receive a response Tuesday on what was going to be done.
“I want the tree out of my windshield.”
