Several people questioned after man shot in Middletown

UPDATE @ 3:22 p.m.: Police are still investigating and talking to several people at the police station, but no one is in custody and no arrests have been made, according to Sgt. Malcolm Tipton.

Detectives are also talking with the victim, who suffered a non-life threatening leg injury.

FIRST REPORT:

Middletown police are investigating a Wednesday afternoon shooting that resulted in one man being taken to an area hospital.

The shooting was around 1:29 p.m. in the 1500 block of Forest Avenue.

One man was shot and taken to Atrium Medical Center, but his condition is unknown.

We are working to learn more about the incident and will continue to update this story as more information becomes available.
