The cause and manner of death have not been determined at this time.
Police and medics responded to the 40 block of West Hudson Avenue around 7:15 p.m. Tuesday.
A gunshot wound victim, later identified as Postell, was taken to Miami Valley Hospital, where he later died.
Dayton police are continuing to investigate the incident.
