The waves of restaurant dining-room reopenings seem to have slowed down, but a new wave is coming in July.

Gov. Mike DeWine and state health officials lifted their mandatory shutdown of all dine-in services, which began March 15, on May 21, and many restaurants and pubs began serving diners that very night.

But large numbers of restaurant owners decided to wait to make necessary changes to keep employees and customers safe. Dayton diners have seen staggered reopenings of many of their favorites, while others have remained carryout/delivery only or have been closed completely since March.

Here are two Dayton restaurants who have announced plans to reopen in July.
