The city of Dayton is considering increasing the customer facility charge on rental cars at the airport.
City commissioners today are expected to have the first reading of legislation that would increase the charge to $4.50 from $3 per transaction day. The $3 facility charge was approved in 2003.
The fee, which is imposed on all rental car transactions originating at the Dayton International Airport, will help fund airport improvements, the ordinance states. CORNELIUS FROLIK
