Plans for exterior upgrades to a 200-unit luxury apartment complex off Ohio 741 have been approved.
Miami Twp. trustees Tuesday night voted in favor of a proposal to add a pond and fountain, and to change signage and the entrance to the 15-acre site at 2991 Austin Springs Blvd. near Austin Boulevard.
The plans are part of a $1 million plan to upgrade the complex, which was purchased by The Connor Group last year.
The Connor Group, headquartered at nearby Dayton-Wright Brothers Airport, owns more than 100 apartment communities nationwide, including four others in the Dayton area.
Austin Springs is within a mile of the future sites of two upscale apartment complexes that would bring 500 additional units to the area. The Flats at Austin Landing across the street will include 274 units and Austin Park, a mixed use development off Ohio 741 at Miami Village Drive, calls for 226 units.
Both of those projects have been approved by trustees. STAFF REPORT
