Overnight: Clouds will linger through the night with perhaps a few flurries around, mainly north, Storm Center 7 Chief Meteorologist McCall Vrydaghs said. Winds will weaken a bit by morning. Overnight lows are expected in the upper 20s with wind chills in the upper teens.

Saturday: A blustery and cold start to the weekend. Highs expected in the upper 30s, but with breezy conditions it will feel like the 20s through most of the day. Clouds will break at times for some sun.

Sunday: Clouds remain with the slight chance of a few passing rain or snow showers, mainly towards the afternoon and evening. Highs expected around 40 degrees.

Monday (Christmas Eve): A chilly morning in the 20s. Highs in the upper 30s. Sunshine and a few clouds. Dry day and night.

Tuesday (Christmas): Christmas morning will be cold and dry in the upper 20s. Clouds increase through the day. A weak system will bring another shot at a few showers towards the evening and into Wednesday. Highs in the upper 30s, which is close to normal.

A White Christmas? Not likely this year.

Wednesday: Partly sunny and cool in the lower 40s.
