A green Ford pickup was merging onto eastbound I-70 from U.S. 40 and hit a patch of ice, sending the pickup across the highway and into a white pickup truck. The white pickup truck then hit a semi-tractor trailer.
The left lane remains closed.

The center and right lanes of eastbound I-70 have reopened following a muli-vehicle crash.
The left lane will remain shut down.

Three vehicle were involved, including two pickup trucks and one semi-tractor trailer. Two people suffered injuries considered non-life threatening.
Traffic remains backed up for several miles.

Eastbound Interstate 70 is closed in Clark County as crews investigate a multi-vehicle crash.
The crash was reported around 3:15 p.m. in the eastbound lanes near U.S. 40 in Clark County. The crash reportedly involves multiple vehicles, including semi-tractor trailers.
Minor injuries have been reported.
