RELATED: 19-year-old arrested after Beavercreek child porn investigation
Newly obtained documents reveal why Hall was taken into custody March 1. The Ohio Bureau of Criminal Investigation tipped off the Beavercreek Police Department about child porn files found on a Beavercreek IP address.
In the Beavercreek police report, investigators state: “I immediately recognized the location from a prior investigation related to child pornography.”
In that case, Hall was charged as a juvenile.
On March 1, Hall was arrested for a probation violation. Investigators said they found a laptop with a file folder titles “USERS/CHRIS/DOWNLOADS/IMMORAL_UNDERAGES.”
The report states some of the child victims appeared to be girls younger than 13.
It’s not known where the girls are from.
A local expert, Libby Nicholson, the director of Care House in Dayton, stresses the importance of body safety conversations to help prevent your child from becoming a victim.

“I think that with so many things in life it starts with communication,” she said. “Body safety is, you know, this is my body and nobody touches it, looks at it, takes pictures of it, uses it for their advantage in any way unless I give them permission to do that.”
Nicholson said some children may not even be aware anything wrong is happening.
“So much of the story is that you’re talking about today has to do with, again, manipulation and bad things happening that children don’t even realize are bad things. And so talking to children about their own safety is a good place to start,” she said.
