The Northridge Community in Harrison Twp. hosted its third annual Christmas Tree Lighting on Saturday evening, joined by the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office, Improving Modern Policing and Community Trust group and Police Athletics and Activities League.

The family-friendly event was scheduled to begin at 5: 30 p.m. at the New City Church at 4800 N. Dixie Drive.

Activities included pictures with Santa, ornament making, a children’s choir and a special holiday performance by Door 57.
