State Fire Marshall Jeff A. Hussey will be pursuing a new career opportunity following his leave.
Hussey previously served as Chief Deputy State Fire Marshal from August 2016 until May 2017 when he was named Interim State Fire Marshal.
"It has been an honor to serve Ohio's fire service, businesses, residents and visitors over the past three and a half years," Marshall Hussey said in a written statement.
