Lily's will be going from a midwestern style restaurant to a tropical inspired kitchen and cocktail bar.
Some of Lily's signature items like fried chicken, shrimp and grits and beignets will remain on the menu while other tiki-influenced food is added.
Lily's owners said they hope to have the restaurant back open by the end of March.
