Owl feature of nature program

The Northern Saw-whet Owl will be the featured animal during the next creature feature program Jan. 5 at Brukner Nature Center, which is located off Horseshoe Bend Road. The program is free and runs from 2 to 3 p.m. The owl is a tiny, very secretive animal yet fierce. They lurk in the cold winter forests of Ohio.

The small owls use their bright eyes to search the woods at night. They migrate to Ohio during the winter months, searching for food.
