Deputies are investigating a pedestrian strike in the 5000 block of North Main Street in Harrison Twp.

A male believed to have been jaywalking was struck by a Chevy Malibu and has been taken to a hospital suffering from a lower leg injury, a Montgomery County Sheriff's supervisor said.

The injury is believed to be non-life threatening.

The incident was dispatched about 4:42 p.m.

The car that hit the male remains on scene. We will update this developing report as warranted.
