Upon arrival, Pike Twp. fire crews reported seeing flames coming from the front and one side of the two-story home.
A Pike Twp. fire official said the cause of the fire is under investigation.
The Red Cross was dispatched to the scene to help the residents.
Fire officials said everyone got out OK, but the fire caused extensive damage and the home is not habitable.
Three fire departments responded to the scene. Emergency vehicles and fire equipment blocked New Carlisle-Saint Paris Road at Ballentine Pike, which was also blocked at Ohio 235.
