BB gun, ammo recovered after Huber Heights Walmart theft

UPDATE @ 3:08 p.m.:

Multiple juveniles are being questioned after an overnight theft of a BB gun, ammo and other merchandise from the Huber Heights Walmart, according to public records.

The theft was reported around 4:30 a.m. at the Walmart on Brandt Pike Thursday.

According to records, at least two juveniles could be facing charges in the investigation.

Police stopped a vehicle a short time after the theft and were able to recover the merchandise.


Huber Heights police are investigating a reported BB/pellet gun theft from the Walmart on Brandt Pike early Thursday. 

We're hearing that store officials have told police an empty Airsoft gun wrapper was found in the sporting goods department of the store.

We're also hearing that an instrument similar to a stun gun and a CO2 container may have been taken as well. 

Police were dispatched sometime after 3 a.m. on a report of someone believed to have been seen carrying guns out of the store.
