Resident shot during burglary in Fairborn

Fairborn police are investigating a home burglary and shooting in Fairborn.

According to police, someone armed with a handgun burglarized a home in the 200 block of Vine Street. During the burglary, a resident was shot in the foot. Police responded to the scene shortly after 3 a.m.

Police are looking for the suspect, and no arrests have been made.

The victim’s injuries are not considered life-threatening.
