DP&L crews located the downed power line on Infirmary Road that’s causing the West Carrollton area outage and they are working to make the necessary repairs, company spokesman Rob Beeler said.

The crews are repairing a switch so they can isolate and repair the damaged parts of the downed line, he said.

It's a medium-voltage distribution line and the crews are working also to determine what happened to it.

Beeler said police told him they had no reports of any vehicle accidents in the area.

According to the DP&L online outage page, the crews are estimating that power will be restored by 11 p.m.
