Crews found firing that needed to be repaired, Hall said, but what caused the problem with the wiring is still being investigated.
In all, an estimated 250 customers — including part of the fairgrounds, 120 Fairground Road — were affected by the outage.
DP&L crews have since made repairs and by about 10 p.m. the service in Greene County had been restored to the affected areas, Hall said.
