Randall Residence opens Tipp City seniors facility

TIPP CITY — The Randall Residence, an 80-unit assisted living and dementia care facility, has opened its doors on South County Road 25A at Evanston Road.

The residence’s layout and offerings are part of an effort to provide residents with a small-town feeling, said Tammy Wick, a Tipp City native, who is the residence’s executive director.

A wide, light-filled hall, aptly named Main Street, takes visitors and residents to a life enrichment/education center, beauty salon/barber shop, a theater, a 24-hour sidewalk cafe and a Corner Grill open to residents for all-day dining.

“Nearly everything that is served from our kitchen is made from scratch, including our breads,” Wick said. She added the residence purchases grass-fed beef, pork and poultry from local farmers.
