A coach clinic for those interested in learning more about First Lego League will be offered from 6-7 p.m. Aug. 27 at the WACO Learning Center, 1865 S. County Road 25A, Troy.
First Lego League is a robotics program for children ages nine - 14 years old. It is designed to get children excited about science and technology. The participants program an autonomous robot to score points on a thematic playing surface.
The clinic will cover components of competition, tips and best practices for a coach, timing of the 2014 season and introduction to programming. The seminar is free and does not include an obligation to coach.
