Sanitary Engineering Department requesting a grant

The Miami County Sanitary Engineering Department is requesting a $16,665 grant to encourage and support glass recycling.

The grant, which would not require any local matching dollars, would be used to buy a roll off container to collect glass recyclables and educational materials, Doug Evans of the sanitary engineering department told the county commissioners recently.
