South Lebanon man faces importuning charge

LEBANON, Ohio -- Fifty-seven-year-old Alvin G. Money of South Lebanon is accused of soliciting a minor to engage in sexual activity. The Dayton Daily News says Money was indicted Friday by a Warren County grand jury. He is accused of importuning.

Prosecutors say that Money solicited a disabled nine-year-old boy February 20 at the Kings Point Church of God.  They add that Money and the boy were acquainted, but there was no physical contact and the boy was not hurt.

Prosecutors say that Money was not aware someone overheard the conversation. That person alerted church leaders who then called the police.

Money was arrested Monday without incident. He is in the Warren County jail and will be arraigned Wednesday afternoon. Money is held without bond.
