Police say the two had been drinking, but they are waiting to hear the woman's side of the story.
Police and a medic unit were dispatched to the inn, 185 Byers Road, about 1:15 p.m., according to Montgomery County Regional Dispatch.
The woman was taken to Kettering Medical Center suffering from minor injuries and is expected to need only stitches.
Police did not take the man into custody.
