Alert for missing Delaware County man cancelled

The missing adult alert for the missing Powell man has been cancelled, according to the Ohio Attorney General’s office.

INITIAL REPORT:

Authorities have issued a statewide Endangered Missing Adult Alert for a Delaware County man last seen Thursday morning.

Tommy Shoemaker, 81, was last seen leaving his home in Powell, Ohio around 10:30 a.m. Thursday, according to the Ohio Attorney General’s Office.

Shoemaker is described as 5-feet 9-inches tall, 203 pounds, with grey hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing grey pants, a blue plaid shirt, and a grey vest with navy blue stripes.

He is believed to be traveling in a 2012 Ford Edge SUV with Ohio license plate GER 4407.
