Stolle Machinery set to move to Vandalia

An official with Stolle Machinery said the company’s move from a leased facility in Miamisburg to a building it owns in the city of Vandalia will allow the tooling manufacturer for the can packaging industry to expand its operations.

The effort could mean 45 to 65 new jobs.

Stolle officials wanted to move to from the Ultra Punch facility on 3980 Benner Road because the company currently leases it, according to Michael Larson, Stolle’s vice president of operations. The company owns 7425 Webster St. in Vandalia, where it will move, allowing for expansion.

“We used to manufacture equipment and things there. It’s now our Innovation Center,” Larson said. “Essentially, all we’re doing is moving the business from Miamisburg to an owned facility there in Vandalia.”

Stolle also plans to put a 15,000 square foot addition onto the Webster Street location.
