'Stop the Shutdown' rally today at Courthouse Square

A rally this afternoon at Courthouse Square in Dayton is designed to be a plea to the federal government.

The "Stop the Shutdown!" rally is set for 4 p.m. at Main and Third streets. It is hosted by the Miami Valley Full Employment Council, according to a release.

The council was formed by unemployed workers in the Dayton area, according to its website.
