Story of missing woman featured on cable TV show

Cable channel Investigation Discovery will feature the case of Marilyn “Niqui” McCown, the Richmond, Ind., resident and Sinclair Community College student who has not been seen since July 22, 2001.

The 28-year-old single mom’s story will be highlighted on the next episode of “Disappeared” at 10 p.m. Monday.

Tommy Swint, McCown’s former colleague and friend, was considered a person of interest in her case and was indicted in February in connection with the 1991 death of Tina Marie Ivery.

Swint, a former Trotwood police officer, shot himself to death as police approached his home in Alabama.
