No students or staff were harmed.
Other students reported the student to school officials after they heard about the knife.
“I commend the students and staff at Lebanon High School for their quick action in this matter,” said Superintendent Todd Yohey. “Concerned students did exactly what they should have done ... As a result, everyone remained safe and the offending student was found and will now face disciplinary measures.”
School officials found the knife and contacted Lebanon police.
“Lebanon City Schools remain safe today because everyone, from students to staff, reacted appropriately,” Yohey said.
