Crews from Anna, Port Jefferson and the Fort Loramie Community Fire Co. were dispatched about 7:15 p.m. on a report of a possible structure fire.

The chief said crews arrived to find a moderate amount of smoke coming from the rear of the modular wood frame ranch home.

The homeowner noticed the smoke and called the fire department. He was treated at the scene, the chief said.

Chief Schulze said the fire appears to have been electrical and may have started in the home's mechanical room/closet.

He said it was too early to estimate the dollar amount of the damage to the home and its contents.
