“With nice weather expected, we anticipate roughly 1,500 guests to come through the gates,” said Will Roberts, president of the chamber.
The event will feature 18 restaurants, caterers, specialty facilities and food trucks.
Local breweries in attendance include Hairless Hare, Mother Stewart’s, Alematic, Lock 27, Lucky Star, Warped Wing, Dayton Beer Co. and Fifth Street.
There will also be 16 total brews plus a selection of Wines from Liquor and Wine Warehouse along with a few canned domestic beer options.
“We will recognize the favorite Appetizer, Soup/Salad, Side, Entrée, Dessert, Wings, Pizza/Sub and honor one A Taste at the Crossroads plus Best Restaurant, Caterer, Bar & Grill and Food Truck,” Roberts said. “Each guest has an opportunity to vote in each category throughout the evening with the highest vote getters being recognized with these distinctions.”
Taste of the Crossroads will be host to a local band, Hey There Morgan, as part of the entertainment for the evening. They are set to perform at 6:30 p.m.
“We are honored to host an event that celebrates the diverse eateries across the Miami Valley,” Roberts said.
Tickets are $20 per person but free for those 9 years old and younger.
The event will be from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Vandalia Recreation Center under the tents in the Sports Complex located on Stonequarry Road.
