Currently, the Parent Viewer component of Progress Book is open to all parents of students attending Wayne High School, Studebaker Middle School, Weisenborn Middle School, and Valley Forge, Titus and Monticello Elementary Schools. The remaining four elementary schools (Menlo Park, Kitty Hawk, Rushmore, and LaMendola) will have the Parent Viewer component open to parents by the second semester.
The Parent Viewer can be accessed from the Huber Heights City School District Web site (www.huberheightscityschools.org). Parents should look on the right hand side of the page and click on the link Parent Viewer: Progress Book. This will take parents to a page that shows the districts that use Progress Book. Next, click on the Wayne Warrior logo and this link will take users to the sign-in page for the Progress Book Parent Viewer. Once on this page, parents must sign in with their user name and password. If parents have difficulty accessing the Parent Viewer, please contact Vickie Mandich in the HHCS Technology Department at 237-6300, ext. 1136. Mrs. Mandich is available every morning until 10:30 a.m.
We hope that parents will utilize this technology tool as a way to monitor their child’s progress. Parents should keep in mind that the grades listed on Progress Book may not always be the most current due to inputting issues. Progress Book will help parents see the academic performance trend of their child in a specific subject. If parents ever have a question regarding the grades that are posted on Progress Book, the appropriate teacher should be contacted. We hope this tool helps improve communication between school and home and creates opportunities for parents to monitor their child’s classroom performance in a timelier manner.
